We are the ParaMatildas, Australia’s first national team for women and girls with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury and symptoms of stroke.

ParaMatildas Hero(2)

In 2019, we held a successful talent identification camp which identified talented female footballers who will now make history and change the football landscape in Australia.

We want women and girls with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury or symptoms of stroke to know that they have a rightful place in football and that their achievements will be celebrated by an Australia that welcomes and embraces diversity.

This team will proudly stand alongside their CommBank Matildas teammates as iconic female footballers.

We are now preparing to compete at the first-ever 2022 IFCPF Women’s World Cup in Spain in May. This will be many people’s first glimpse of women’s CP football and we want to show the world that the ParaMatildas are here to change the game, on and off the pitch.
